Christmas Traditions Captured on Video - Plymouth Family Film Maker and Photographer

What are some of your favorite family traditions? Food traditions around the holidays seem to be the most important for us. My Grandma’s cheesy potatoes are a must. Never negotiable. That’s just the tip of the food tradition iceberg for me, too. This family included me in some of their favorite traditions for a Holiday Family Film and Photo session down in Plymouth. The kids got to help make their Great Great Grandma’s chocolate covered cherry recipe. Isn’t that amazing? I can only imagine what it would be like to see my Grandma making her famous sugar cookies on video. Maybe then, I’d be able to replicate it. This bunch will have their mom showing them the ropes on the recipe for their whole life now. That’s something special.

Thank you to the families like this one that continue to see the value in what I offer. I know I’m not like every other photographer out there. Photographing families doing the things that make them unique is a joy. It is so much deeper than updated smiling portraits for me (although I do love those!). I want to give you the gift of time. It’s slipping through our fingers at lightening speed, and I truly feel like these videos stop a few moments from vanishing forever.

Enjoy this Plymouth, Indiana Holiday Film and In-Home Photo Session.
