Meet My Associate Photographers

To ensure more graduates get the chance to celebrate this milestone with beautiful photos, I work with a small, trusted team of associate photographers for select sessions. Each associate has been personally trained by me, and I fully trust them to capture the same joy and spirit you’d expect in your photos.

Here’s how it works: they’ll be behind the camera on your session day, and I’ll handle all the editing to ensure every image has that signature Lindsey DeCicco Photography touch you know and love.

One associate has been part of my team since last year, shooting several sessions and earning rave reviews. Another is new to my team this year but brings her experience as a family photographer, her incredible talent and joyful enthusiasm to the table. Together, we’re committed to making your experience seamless and memorable.

FAQs

  • Ah, spring in South Bend—where the weather loves to keep us on our toes. Don’t worry; I’ve got a plan:

    • The Day Before: I’m obsessively checking the forecast. If it’s clearly going to be a total washout, I’ll let you know and we’ll reschedule.

    • The Day Of: For evening sessions, if the forecast is still up in the air, I’ll make the call 3-4 hours ahead so you don’t waste time getting all dolled up for nothing. For sunrise sessions, I’ll decide as soon as I’m up (fingers crossed you’re still snoozing).

    • Backup Dates: I set aside 3-4 make-up days just in case Mother Nature gets moody. If we need to reschedule, you’ll get first dibs on those dates.

Here’s the good news: This plan has always worked like a charm. In the extremely rare case that we just can’t make it work, I’ll refund your money (but knock on wood—I haven’t had to do that yet!).

  • Bring your cap, gown, tassels, stoles, and any other regalia. Comfortable walking shoes are highly recommended, along with a hairbrush for windy days or quick touch-ups.

  • Your session includes up to three locations, so choose what matters most! Popular spots include the Golden Dome, Library Lawn, and the Grotto, but you can also consider:

    • Your dorm (great for roommates!)

    • Your school’s building (like the business or law school)

    • The lakes (beautiful upgrades there!)

    • The God Quad (but keep in mind it may count as two spots if you want extra time)

    • DPAC, the sculpture garden, or another special place

Let me know what feels most you, and we’ll plan around it!

  • For most groups of up to 7 students, yes! In 75 minutes, we can cover 3 locations and take individual portraits at 1 location.

However, with larger groups, time gets tight due to walking and waiting between shots. If you’ve got more than 7 people, I recommend adding an extra 30 minutes to ensure we capture everything, including individual portraits.

Not adding time? No problem! Just be ready to skip the third location or forgo individuals. It’s all about making the session work for you!

  • Great question! A little planning goes a long way in making your session efficient and stress-free.

One of the biggest time-savers? Decide ahead of time what everyone will wear at each location. I once had a group create a shared Google Doc and a Pinterest board to map it all out—planning MVPs right there! You don’t have to go that far, but discussing the basics with your group is a game-changer. Here’s an example:

    • Touchdown Jesus: Stoles only, cap toss photos.

    • The Grotto: Dresses for one set of shots, stoles for another.

    • The Dome: Cap and gown for group photos and individuals with the Dome in the background, plus champagne shots by the statue. If there’s time, we can grab a few on the steps too.

This simple step ensures everyone’s on the same page and helps me prioritize what’s most important to you. It’s a win-win for everyone!

  • Aligning your busy senior year schedules with my handful of dates might be a challenge for your group. If nothing available works, reach out via email. We might be able to find something that works!

  • We have a handful of LAW ONLY bookings available. Please use the LAW ONLY booking link to see if a date works. If not, please reach out via email. We might be able to accommodate you.

  • I’m sorry, but no. I cannot book family sessions the weekend of graduation. Trust me, you’ll love your iPhone snap!

“Lindsey did a phenomenal job taking photos for our group for graduation! She was very helpful in answering all our questions beforehand and was very willing to be flexible in what shots we took based on weather as well as construction blocking some of the sights on campus. We had a great time working with her and the photos turned out great!”

A few things to note:

  • Lindsey, Rachel, and Sarah’s sessions are all on the same scheduler. After booking, you’ll receive a standard thank-you message from Lindsey. Your photographer will then follow up with you directly by phone or text to confirm the details.

  • Law Students: A dedicated week is reserved just for you, due to the limited time frame for your regalia. Please help us keep these appointments available exclusively for law students—thank you!
