Featured Session: The Franke Family Documentary Session
Life with littles is just plain hard sometimes.
My prayer for this film as it goes out to this family in the thick of it, is that they can watch it in quiet moments and appreciate the beauty that’s being buried in all that busy business of keeping babies alive and fed.

Family Pictures at Saint Mary's | South Bend Family Photographer
Things I loved about this family pictures session at Saint Mary’s College in South Bend.
Brynn took the time to think about the session, do a little homework, and came up with the great idea of doing a leap in one of her photos. I love that she was thinking about it!
We definitely, 100% captured Nolan’s personality. I was laughing through some tears trying to edit these photos. His dad is the funniest person I know. He’s kept me laughing since Elementary School, so this did not come as a surprise to me. Mom said “that IS Nolan. He will LOVE that and think he’s so funny!” (See below for the picture I’m talking about.)
I tried out a new game to get some real, authentic smiles. I loved it. Better yet, the kids loved it. Can you figure out what it was?
An old man in a security car pulled up to us during the session. I thought he was going to ask us to leave, but instead, gave us some inside info about some pretty places to take pictures on Saint Mary’s campus. Yay for nice people!
This family. I love this family so much.
Welcome Home Baby Violet | Goshen Newborn Photographer
This Elkhart, Indiana shoot is one of my favorite in-home newborn sessions to date! I am so thankful for every single one of you that continues to invite me into the most precious moments of life.
Maternity Pictures and Video | South Bend, IN Photographer and Filmmaker
It was so fun including the whole family in this maternity session. Why not? Come to think of it, I can’t really think of any maternity sessions that I’ve seen that DO include the whole family, and I can’t think of one reason not to make this the normal.
