The Search for the Right Photographer—It's Like Lightbulb Shopping

Ever gone on a deep dive researching something as simple as lightbulbs? Because same. When we moved into our new house, I spent an embarrassing amount of time figuring out which bulbs had the right temperature (fellow Kelvin nerds, you get it), were energy-efficient, and actually fit our light fixtures. Spoiler: I still don’t have it right.

Finding a photographer can feel just as overwhelming. You research styles, scroll through endless portfolios, and read reviews like it’s a full-time job. Weddings? We all know to do our homework to find the right fit. But what about the rest of life’s moments? Finding the perfect family photographer is just as important—and I’m here to make that part easier for you.

Why You Need a Photographer Who Stays With You

Most families end up hiring different photographers for each stage of life: a newborn photographer, a family photographer, a senior photographer... it’s exhausting. What if you could have one person who grows with your family, capturing every milestone seamlessly? That’s where I come in. Lindsey DeCicco Photography is a full-service family photography business, and I’m here to be your go-to photographer from babyhood to beyond.

Newborn Photography—The Sleep-Deprived, Beautiful Chaos

Newborns? I’m all about them. Whether it’s a Fresh 48 hospital session, a cozy at-home documentary session, or a newborn family film, I’m here to capture those first sweet days (or weeks—no rush!).

Pro tip: Newborns don’t have an expiration date for photos. If you need a little time to adjust, we can wait a few weeks or even months. Sometimes, it’s nice to capture a bit of their personality once they start interacting more!

The First Year—Because It’s a Blur

If you’ve ever looked back on your baby’s first year and thought, Wait, when did they start sitting up?, you’re not alone. That’s why I offer my Grow With Me Film Series, documenting your baby’s milestones throughout the year. Trust me, the tears hit every time watching these.

Maternity Photos—A Love Letter to the Baby on the Way

Pregnancy is such a fleeting, emotional time, and capturing it is something you’ll never regret. Whether we shoot in your home or a special location, I love creating photos and films that document the anticipation and love surrounding your little one’s arrival.

Want to make it extra special? Let’s record a letter to your baby, narrated over footage of your growing family. It’s a keepsake that will mean the world to them (and to you).

The kids get out of the baby stage, and you realize you haven’t taken family photos in a really long time. I got you.

Family Sessions—From Toddlers to Teens

Time flies, and suddenly, your baby is a full-on kid with opinions and a favorite snack (probably something messy). Whether you want a classic portrait session or a documentary-style family session, I’ve got you covered. Let’s capture your family in a way that feels like you.

Senior Portraits—Making It Their Moment

Your baby is graduating. (Hold on, let me grab a tissue.) Senior sessions can be incorporated into family sessions, making sure you get a mix of family and solo senior shots. This isn’t just about school photos—it’s about capturing who they are at this milestone moment.

Extended Family Sessions—The More, The Merrier

A lot of photographers shy away from extended family sessions, but I love them. Seeing multiple generations together, capturing grandparent-grandkid moments, and freezing the legacy of your family in time? That’s what it’s all about.

And let’s talk about family films—because while photos are priceless, having video footage of your parents or grandparents, their voices, their interactions? That’s next level.

No Need to Keep Searching—I'm Here for All of It

Whatever stage your family is in—whether it’s newborn snuggles, growing-up-too-fast toddlers, or teenagers about to head off to college—I’m here to capture it all. You don’t need to keep finding new photographers. You just need one who grows with you.
