I’m the Photographer and Videographer For You If…

...documenting your family's right now is a big deal to you.

Toward the end of my second pregnancy, I started feeling this urgency to spend as much time as possible with my oldest. It seemed impossible that someone else could take up space in my heart when my whole heart was already madly in love with my first child. It felt like my oldest would suddenly be treated so unfairly, having to share mom and dad with another person. I thought I needed to pour as much as possible into him while I could, to tide him over ‘til I came up for air after the newborn stage. Have you felt that way? That urgency to make memories and connect?

Another time this feeling was very real in my mind was when I had scheduled a family film session with my friend Krystal. After scheduling the session, we surprised ourselves by buying and selling a house. All of a sudden, the upcoming film session had so much more value, because it would be a time capsule of our right now—and right now was about to change completely. It still makes me happy-cry a little when I watch it back. My sweet old house. <3

Sometimes big things are happening, but other times it’s the simple stuff: a lost tooth or the feeling that your babies are outgrowing your lap. If you’re in a stage that you know you want to remember, it’s a perfect time to schedule a session. As one of South Bend’s only family photographer/videographers, I can help you preserve those moments that feel fleeting, so you can hold onto them forever.

...you know there’s beauty in your family’s simple, everyday togetherness—even if it doesn’t always feel “Instagram-ready.”

You know the moments I mean—the belly laughs during a board game, the lazy Sunday mornings with everyone piled on the couch, or the chaos of pancakes for dinner because why not? These are the moments that make your family yours.

You might not know how to bottle up the magic of your messy, beautiful, everyday life. But that’s where I come in. Capturing your family’s story isn’t about perfect outfits or everyone looking at the camera. It’s about preserving the way your baby’s hand fits in yours, or how your toddler’s curls catch the light. It’s about documenting the giggles, the glances, and the deep breaths of togetherness that make up your life.

So, let’s take what feels ordinary to you and turn it into something extraordinary—something that reminds you, this is us, and this is everything.

...your everyday moments feel like the ones that matter most.

Playing in the living room, snacking at the kitchen table, or piling onto the big bed for an epic snuggle fest. Sometimes, don’t you just wish someone could press record and capture the giggles, silly phrases, and spontaneous dance moves?

Hi, I’m Lindsey, and I’m that someone. Capturing your family’s beautifully ordinary moments is my absolute favorite thing to do. Those tiny flashes of connection, joy, and love are where the magic is.

Friend, if I could, I’d squeeze your face between my hands and tell you how breathtakingly beautiful your everyday life is. Yes, it might feel mundane sometimes, but let me tell you—it’s lovely. It’s holy. It’s a gift.

I can’t squeeze your face right now (though I’d love to), but if you let me, I can show you.

...you treasure those home videos from your childhood.

You know the ones—grainy footage of you in the backyard, your mom laughing behind the camera, or your grandparents waving from the porch. Maybe you’re lucky enough to have them and watch them when you need a reminder of where you came from. Or maybe you don’t have any, and your heart aches wishing you did.

Either way, you understand the importance of preserving life as it is right now. Because one day, your kids—or even their kids—will look back at these moments and feel that same connection to their story.

...you believe “real life” beats perfectly posed any day.

Sure, I love a good classic portrait: everyone dressed up, smiling at the camera, looking their best. But what I love even more is the in-between stuff. The belly laughs, the snuggles, the mischievous grins.

Those moments when you’re not trying to “look perfect” are when you’re most you. That’s what I’m here for.

Some of my favorite sessions happen when families say, “We just want to hang out—can you capture that?” Yes, yes I can. This mom asked me to. So did this one. And guess what? It’s everything.

...you want your family to feel something when they see these photos or films.

It’s not just about what you see—it’s about what you feel. That sense of belonging, of connection, of history.

It’s noticing how your child’s mischievous grin mirrors your own childhood photos. Or seeing how your mom looks so much like your grandma. It’s holding on to the joy of good memories when the hard days come.

Every photo, every frame is another chapter in your family’s story. If you’re ready to add to your record, I’m here to help you do it.
