The Steele Family Film + Photos

A ten year dream. A two year build. Two years of site planning, prepping, selecting every finish. Two years of picnics, creek walking, cleaning literal garbage off the property. They are finally moved in! Sure, they don’t have a couch, they have boxes in every room, barely anything has been decorated (I can relate 100% to this since we just moved, ourselves), but it’s home and they are in.

Since the Steeles have been coming here for a couple years already, they’ve already created trails through the woods, over creeks, and already have their favorite route mapped out. We tried to beat the rain, but ended up in a light sprinkle, making it inside just in time. I was glad I bought a pair of mud boots before I came. We were lucky.

This film is less about their experience inside their home… that film is to come, I’m sure. Once they are settled, feeling at home and have lots of memories stored up already, we can revisit their (gorgeous) home. Instead, this is about the property they already know and love, their dreams finally being accomplished and of course, their love for each other.

Come along as we plant fairy gardens, play in Brown County Mud, pick bouqets and fry the morels they found (for the first time on that day!) I had a blast.
