An Extended Family Session | The Laidigs, Mishawaka Photographer

When all the kids are in the same city and there’s a new baby, you pray the stars to align and get a family picture. Then you pray a little harder when the forecast is storms all afternoon and evening. Well, we got all the pics and left without a single drop raining down. (Thank you, Jesus!) This session was with friends that are fam. I’m sure you recognize almost all of these people if you’ve been around LDP for any time. I got a little teary eyed looking at the big group shot. What a blessing. (Cry face, cry face.)

I love these people, guys.

Did you know I make a slide show your session? You can see theirs here. She loved the song. So did I. <3 The blog posts I write highlight my favorite pictures, but the slideshow has almost all the pictures from the session. This gives you a good idea of what an extended family shoot would look like for you. I take more posed, traditional shoots when I have this many people, since I don’t have time to break down 5 family units like I do during a 1-family session, but there was plenty of time for candid hunting pictures.

When this many little kids are together, it can get a little crazy. Hurdling your baby brother for example!

How funny is that? Enjoy my favorites from this session.
