A challenge is good for you, right? This session should have been so easy. Beautiful, cooperative older girls, a gorgeous and in-love family, magazine-quality home to take pictures at, and even a photogenic dog. However, we were dodging rain the whole session. Not sprinkles, either. A peaceful, moderate rain. Thankfully, because of all the positives I just listed PLUS their easy going attitudes, it did end up being a very nice session. I loved when I walked away and heard the girls say “that was so fun!” Yay! Dodging rain out in the country, on a gator, zipping around their beautiful property put a huge smile on my face… and so I’m glad it put one on their faces, too!
Mom wanted to do the session at home. I love that. I have had some of the best home sessions this year. People feel so comfortable and there is always a beautiful place to take a picture. This family loves to be at home, and I don’t blame them. It is gorgeous. Their beautiful pond and creek were perfect to set up shop nearby. Mom simply wanted to remember “the goodness of being together”. I hope this session allows her to remember that goodness forever!
