Welcome Home Miriam | Granger Newborn Session
Babies, babies, everywhere. This year, I have felt so lucky to have lots of newborn sessions on the calendar. This at-home newborn session happened 2 weeks after she was born. Everyone was back home, everyone was sort-of used to being bleary eyed, and exhausted and everyone was ready to capture those irreplaceable photos.
You know I love an in-home newborn session. When I was a new mom, I wanted all the things to come to ME. Unfortunately, grocery delivery wasn’t a thing 12 years ago, and I couldn’t afford a house keeper, but wouldn’t that have been nice if all that in-home service was an option? In-home photo sessions are just easier for you, mom. One clean bed and an outfit for everyone… bam. That’s all you have to worry about. Except maybe a shower. Easier said than done, I know!
Sweet little M is a bringing the joy already. They love all her expressions. We got a lot of those! Mom also wanted to capture her blue eyes and dimples, dad rocking and singing to her when she gets fussy, and a picture of herself with clean hair holding her new baby. If that isn’t a real request, I don’t know what is! Ha!
