Picking a Location by Look - Part 2

When a photography client doesn’t know where to get their pictures taken, they often give me the freedom of selecting my favorite spot. While I appreciate the trust in me, I do like to give some guidance. I thought I’d share a couple of quick general options here to help give you a visual. This is the second post in a 3 part series.

The important thing to know, is that your location choice will often dictate the WHEN. Different months are better for each of these looks. If one of these second two looks hits the bullseye for you, inquire about when it’s best to schedule a session there.

Look 3: City

If you love texture, city might be the look for you. This could go one of two ways… city streets or city parks. There is often brick, concrete, glass to bounce light around, rivers, fountains, gardens and benches at our disposal.

Look 4: Campus

I’d be a dummy if I didn’t include Notre Dame here. So many people want to get pictures at Notre Dame, and I can totally understand why. I’ve had pics done here for our family, too! But the time of year truly is a factor when deciding to get pictures on campus. If you like the look of these photos, make sure you inquire about it so we get you on the schedule at the right time.
