I love meeting new families. This is what Ashley had to say about her own family. Let’s get to know them!
My husband, Ben, is a very hands-on, fun dad. Jack is a sweet and responsible big brother. He is five and can be so goofy and fun. Harrison is spunky and sassy. They are both excited that their little brother has arrived and are already doting on him. My boys are boys in the truest sense of the word. They like to be outside and getting dirty, especially while playing sports. Their favorite is baseball. The love to wrestle, rough house, read books and play with super heroes.
We love to spend time at the lake, the park, or the river. I never want to forget their smallness, both their physical attributes, as well as their innocence. I want to remember how it feels to pick them up and hold their tiny hands. I never want to forget their excitement over experiencing both new things and also how simple experiences like rolling down a window in the car can make them squeal with delight.
We are high school sweethearts and we have been together for 15 years. During this season of life, I know I’ll remember how “together” we are. The closeness that we share, fighting over who gets to sit by whom on the couch… I want to remember it forever.
