Happy New Year!

Last year was so full of uncertainty. Coming off of maternity leave in January led right into the craziness of COVID. I wasn’t sure if I’d have any sessions in 2020. This meme sums up my marketing last year.

Nevertheless, I was able to work with so many great families this year (at a distance, with a mask on, of course!).

Today, I’m sharing my favorite photos from each session. I always pick my favorite photos right away during my work flow process and stick them in a folder. Then, I meet with the clients and they make their selections. It seems like my favorites are rarely their favorites for some reason. I love that a photograph can make us all feel something different. A photograph that draws me in might not draw you in and vice-versa. That’s art for you! It’s also why I like to load you up with lots of great options.

This family has become so special to me. I got to see them 3 times this year and they are already on the books twice for next year. So thankful! I love mom’s expression, full of love for her little man.

This particular senior session was fun for me.. it’s my oldest nephew. So proud of him.

Extended family photography sessions like this are so fun. Especially when the people at the session are like family. This is my best friend and her gorgeous, wonderful family.

This backyard wedding was one of my favorites this year. It was hard to pick a few favorites but these were all picked for the emotions in them.

Doting on a brand new baby. Of course this was my favorite from their newborn photography session at home.

I loved loved loved this family photo session. I have permission to share this picture, but none of the others as they want to protect their children’s privacy. I respect that! But man, I wish you could see the pure magic that this session was.
