Grandparent Family Film at Harvest Time | Plymouth, IN
I so appreciate my every-year families. Especially when they have totally sold out to my Family Film Vision for my business. They are the reason we can keep going, and I don’t take that for granted!
This year, Grandma and Papa wanted to do a harvest film. This is a special time of year for any farmer. All that hard work and dedication has become an abundance. I completely understand why this special time of year was when they wanted to make their time capsule.
If you’ve ever wondered what a grandma and grandpa dedicated to memory making looks like, you will get a first class course today. They are all about making, baking, creating, crafting, etc, etc. Every session is so packed with activity that I get a little nervous that I won’t be able to show the heart behind it. That was a top goal of mine with this film. How do you think I did?
Papa has been a little quiet the last few Film Sessions, so when I saw him helping the kids or giving them a new experience (paw paw tasting!), I had to make sure to get as much of him on the film as possible. I know I personally would love to see and hear more of my grandparents, especially interacting with me as a child. I have precious few scenes on video I can look back to. I do not take it for granted that I get to give these children a gift that will grow all the more precious as time goes by.
Please, sit back, and watch this family’s Saturday evening at Grandma and Papa’s. Is there any scene in particular that takes you back to your own grandparent’s house? For me, it’s the kitchen. Watching my grandma in the kitchen was like watching a master at work. Love that.
How great was that paw paw scene? Such a grandpa thing to say.. “How do you know? You’ve never tried one!” Love it!!
We are working our way up to our first ever booking blitz, happening over Black Friday week with some sales and discounts! If you are interested in a family film, I’d love to get you on the schedule.
